Kathy is a psychotherapist, writer, and consultant. She received her BA at the University of Chicago in 1973, an MALS in Library Science in 1976, MA in Clinical Psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in 1989, and further training at the Chicago Counseling and Psychotherapy Center in 1995. She was a Training Committee member of the former Chicago Counseling and Psychotherapy Center. She is Adjunct Faculty at Argosy University -- Chicago Downtown Campus. Her affiliations include the American Counseling Association, Argosy University's Illinois School of Professional Psychology Minor Certificate Program in Client-Centered and Experiential Psychotherapy, the Association for the Development of the Person-Centered Approach, the Illinois Counseling Association, the Illinois Mental Health Counseling Association, and the World Association for Person-Centered and Experiential Psychotherapy and Counseling.
